The TR16 MBR 308SR is part of G&G’s TR16 designated marksman rifle family and is built around the advanced G2H gearbox system, one of the most sophisticated gearbox architectures developed by G&G. The G2H system integrates a MOSFET and Electronic Trigger Unit directly within the gearbox assembly, significantly improving trigger response while protecting electrical components from wear.

A major advantage of the G2 gearbox is its electronic control architecture, which enhances firing consistency and reliability while allowing programmable burst control and power-cut protection. By removing traditional trigger contact wear and managing current flow electronically, the system provides smoother operation and long-term durability for high-cycle gameplay.
