The Boafeng UV-5R is a portable two-way radio featuring dual band and dual display capabilities. It operates on frequency ranges of 136-174MHz and 400-520MHz, with FM radio reception from 65-108MHz. Designed for simple or semi-duplex operation, it offers a large LCD display and selectable tri-colour background light.

This compact device includes a high gain dual band antenna and supports 128 channel storage with various scanning and emergency alert functions. It is powered by a 7.4V 1800mAh Li-ion battery and weighs 250g including battery and antenna.
